To speakers of Mexican Spanish, are 'floreta' and 'solete' valid words?

Diminutive forms of ‘flor’ and ‘sol’. Do they seem plausible or completely wrong to you? I’m working on a linguistics paper and already know that florecita and solecito are the preferable forms.
