If I don't get hired for a job in America because I don't speak spanish, is that racist?

Like if the job description says that you have to speak spanish but you can’t speak spanish, is that considered racist?

I think it is because I’m in America and in America, we speak English.
My mom doesn’t think so because it is part of the job description.
